ОПИСАНИЕ:

DAY 1. 

​

We pick up you from Tbilisi airport (or Kutaisi upon request).  You will be provided with all information important for the first time in country (currency exchange, what to see, where to eat or buy good wine etc. 

 

Accommodation at the hotel.

Our company's representative will also help you to check in.

 

DAY 2.

 

Exploring the city. 

Breakfast at the hotel. 

 

This day you will have a private city tour with a guide.

​

You will learn the history of a city founded more than 1500 years ago. The main route will take place along the streets of the Old Town.

​

The duration of the tour is 3.5-4 hours. 

 

 

The rest of the time you can spend by exploring the city or visit the famous Sulphur baths. 

In the evening we advise you to visit on of the restaurant from our recommendation list.

DAY 3

 

Tour to Kazbegi. 

 

Breakfast at the hotel. 

 

You will go to one of the most beautiful places in Georgia. On the road, which is a landmark in itself, you will see the old fortress of Ananuri from the 16th to 17th centuries of construction and climb the Cross Pass with a height of 2,379 meters. The most important thing on this trip is the ascent to the Gergeti Trinity Church, which was built in the 14th century at the foot of  Kazbek mountain.

Lunch will be on the way to a restaurant with the most delicious hinkali (this region is considered a place where they were invented).

Come back to the town late evening.

 

DAY 4. 

 

Tour to Kakheti. 

 

Breakfast at the hotel. 

 

 

You will go to the region known as the birthplace of winemaking. However, its history is no less saturated and rich than the wine from Kvevri.

You will pass through the Gombori pass, visit the city of Telavi, take a wine tour, go up to the  Nekresi Monastery and stop at the remains of the walls of the once-large city of Gremi. At the end of the program, you will be waiting for an already covered table in a small private restaurant with a wine cellar.

Back to the city. 

 

DAY 5. 

 

Breakfast at the hotel. 

​

On this day you will complete the excursion program by visiting the  Jvari Monastery and the city of Mtskheta. Both are just 30 minutes' drive from Tbilisi, so it will take only half a day.

Mtskheta was the first capital of Georgia, and the history of the country's baptism in the 4th century is connected with Jvari. 

 

Also, you visit the Cathedral of Svetitskhoveli (11 century) and walk along the beautiful streets where you can buy delicious churchkhela, spices and souvenirs.

DAY 6. 

 

Free time for exploring the city or shopping.
